The Tow-Donut neatly combines a tow float (vital for making you seen whilst open water swimming) and a top loading dry bag. The advantage of this bag over the other swimming bags offered on this site, is that you can access it from the water.
First inflate the donut with the mouth piece on the top side, then put your valuables inside. There’s ample space for keys, wallets and a mobile phone (I even stick a pair of flip flops in there). Pinch the top close and roll it down at least four turns and secure with the buckle. Finally, inflate the bag from the mouth-piece on the bottom. This will give it a nice rounded bottom and fully pressurise the tow-donut.
As with all the Swim Secure bags, they come with a waist belt and leash. Clip it on and hit the water!
If, during your swim, you get cramp the tow-donut can be used to help you tread water. It has a buoyancy of 12kg, making it a great resting place, just when you need it.
Warning: This float is not a life saving device and should only be used by competent swimmers.
